Colorado pilot · Applications open

Get commercial flooring project opportunities without the bidding-site race.

FloorSpec connects commercial epoxy, polished concrete, and floor coating contractors with reviewed project requests in their service area. We’re starting with a small Colorado pilot network.

Pilot model

Start in pilot mode. No monthly contract required.

FloorSpec is launching as a Colorado pilot. Here’s how the early model actually works — no subscription, no commitment to a tier, no promised lead volume we can’t back up yet.

Contractors apply to join the Colorado pilot network. Once accepted, you receive matching commercial flooring project opportunities in your service area as lead previews. You accept or decline each one before any payment.

During pilot, qualified leads are priced individually based on project size and buyer intent. Most early qualified leads will fall around $75–$150 per accepted opportunity. Larger projects or particularly high-intent commercial leads will be priced higher.

Preferred or exclusive territory access may become available later for strong-fit contractors in markets that develop consistent lead volume. For now, the focus is matching qualified projects with the right specialists — not selling subscriptions or promising volume we can’t yet deliver.

How lead routing works

Sequential routing, not lead blasting.

1

A project owner submits a request

Through the homepage or a location page, a commercial buyer fills out the intake form with service type, facility, size, timeline, and budget stage.

2

We review for commercial fit

Each submission is checked for commercial scope, service area, and project legitimacy before any routing happens.

3

Best-fit contractor receives a preview

The matched contractor gets a lead preview — service, facility, size range, timeline, budget stage, and area. No contact info yet.

4

Accept or decline

Review the preview and decide whether to accept at the price shown. No obligation to accept any specific volume.

5

Pay, and the full contact is delivered

Accept and pay through a Stripe link with pricing shown upfront. Once it clears, the full lead — contact, project details, photos when available — arrives by email, usually within the hour.

6

Declined? It routes to the next specialist

If you decline or don't respond, the opportunity moves to the next qualified contractor in the area — no penalty, no effect on future matches.

No lead blasting: We do not send the same lead to a large list of contractors. The goal is tight routing, better fit, and less bidding chaos. Sequential is slower than blasting — and gives every contractor a real shot at the projects routed to them.
Lead quality

What counts as a qualified lead?

Every project routed to you should meet these criteria. If it doesn’t, you don’t pay.

FloorSpec sells qualified project opportunities, not guaranteed closed jobs.

  • Commercial or industrial project — not residential
  • Within your declared service area
  • Matches the services you offer and your minimum project size
  • Includes project type, facility type, square footage range, timeline, and budget stage when available
  • Includes valid, working contact information
  • Not a duplicate of a previous submission

When a lead is not billable

If a lead is clearly fake, residential, outside your agreed service area, or missing usable contact info, it is not billable. Mark it in the system and you’re not charged.

Quality and tracking

Lightweight, honest, and built on contractor feedback.

Lead quality stays part of the process

After a lead is delivered, contractors may be asked to mark whether it was a good fit, not a fit, couldn’t reach, too small, outside scope, bad contact info, won, lost, or still quoting. This feedback helps us improve routing quality and resolve refund questions without needing a dashboard.

Simple lead tracking

During the pilot, lead activity is tracked internally: preview sent, accepted, paid, delivered, declined, or marked not a fit. Preferred partners may receive territory summaries once lead volume is consistent.

Contractor FAQ

Common questions from applicants.

Is there a monthly fee to join?

Not during the pilot. Contractors can apply to join the network and review opportunities as they become available. Preferred or exclusive territory options may be offered later.

Are leads shared with multiple contractors?

We do not blast the same request to a large list. During the pilot, leads are routed sequentially based on fit. If one contractor declines or does not respond, the opportunity may move to another qualified contractor.

What happens if a lead is bad?

Leads that are clearly fake, residential, duplicated, outside your agreed service area, or missing usable contact info are not billable or may be credited.

Do I need to upload insurance or license documents?

No uploads are required to apply. We ask for self-reported credential information and review public business details. Documentation may be requested later for preferred or exclusive placement.

Can I reserve a territory?

Not immediately. Preferred or exclusive territory access may become available once a market has consistent lead volume and a contractor has proven strong fit and responsiveness.

What areas are you launching first?

We are starting in Colorado, with early focus on Denver Metro, Boulder/Longmont, Northern Colorado, and Colorado Springs.

How are leads delivered?

Contractors receive a preview first. If accepted, payment is handled through Stripe and full contact details are delivered by email.

Do you guarantee jobs?

No. FloorSpec provides qualified project opportunities, not guaranteed closed work.
